As a resident, you will join a cohort of more than 1,400 residents within the Washington University School of Medicine. Your peers and world-renowned faculty will stand behind you as you hone your skills and complete the plastic surgery residency track.

Research Fellow
The Plastic Surgery Research Laboratories in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Washington University School of Medicine are looking for a research fellow to join the multi-disciplinary research team. A successful candidate will be involved in creating bioengineering platforms for tissue regeneration, focusing on head-to-toe basic science and preclinical research topics relevant to plastic surgery. A successful candidate will spend at least one dedicated year to full time research in this domain working with faculty including Drs. Justin Sacks, Xiaowei Li and Matthew Wood.
This position is for graduate or medical students or recent medical school graduates still seeking residency who are coming to Washington University to work on a research project as part of practical training or for thesis/dissertation research while maintaining student status with their home university.
